Moineddin Jablonski

JANUARY 1, 1942 — FEBRUARY 27, 2002

Murshid Moineddin Carl Jablonski was the immediate successor to Murshid S.A.M.

During his life, he actively discouraged people from calling him “Pir” (even though he was head of the Ruhaniat)
much preferring to simply be Murshid — or even just Moineddin.

He was head of the Sufi Islamia Ruhaniat Society (now Sufi Ruhaniat International)
when that Order and the Dervish Healing Order first became independent entities.

Moineddin regularly led people in the Three Jhanas practice, and generally led the Zikr of Hazrat Inayat Khan starting on “Ga” (the third), as he remembered doing it that way with Murshid S.A.M. — even though we came to learn that the Zikr is actually in the Rag Bhairavi, and begins on “SA” (the tonic).
